Celery Seed

Botanical name: Apium graveolens
Uses: May clear toxins from the system, gout (uric acid crystals in the joints), and arthritis. A mild digestive stimulant. Mix with a carrier oil and massage into arthritic joints.
Cautions: May cause severe allergic reaction in some people. Avoid the oil and large doses of the seeds during pregnancy. They can act as a uterine stimulant.
